Jubilee Wood forms an integral part of the Mill Brook Wildlife Corridor, located on the periphery of Tattenhall. It was officially opened on the 2nd June 2012 in recognition of Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee. This new area of woodland comprising 1200 trees was planted by Tattenhall Wildlife Group and members of the local community.
The fourteen species which have been planted are all native to Cheshire and include the Small-leaved Lime and Black Poplar which are no longer common in the County.
